ABOUT ME
Director/ Writer
Based in LA/Shanghai, Olivia Hang Zhou is a writer/director whose works depict femininity, identity, trauma in cross-cultural perspectives. Her short film APART, TOGETHER hits both 2021 DGA and BAFTA award, the winner of 44th Asian American Film Festival, screened 50 festivals including prestigious Vancouver International film festival, and is now distributed on Amazon Prime Video. Her feature project THE REUNION won best project at Shanghai International Film Festival SIFF NEXT Lab.
Meanwhile, she sparks in commercial world by directing world-widely for LV, Chanel, Dior, Armani, Burberry, Loewe, Prada, Mercedes Benz, Nowness and others.
Olivia holds an MFA in directing from American Film Institute, and is a recipient of RICHARD P. ROGERS spirit of excellence award.
